Mission

The oakland chinatown chamber foundation (occ foundation) was formed in 2003 as a 501c3 charitable organization to accept donations towards projects that will benefit the welfare of business entities and residents in the oakland chinatown community through educational and cultural enrichment activities, as well as economic development endeavors. Occf facilitates the collection of donations from businesses and invididuals to benefit the community in time of emergencies and casualties.

OCCF established a GoFundMe for Oakland Police Officer Le, who was killed in the line of duty late December 2023. The campaign raised $134,476.06. A check for the same amount was delivered to Officer's wife, Sarah Fung in February, 2024.

OCCF was the fiscal agent for a community group who hosted a Ping Pong Tournament in Oakland Chinatown during the StreetFest on August 24-25,2025. We collected $3,200, but spent $3,574.75 on this project.
