The girls equity movement (gems) empowers young women through entrepreneurship training, leadership development, and mental health support. The program provides a hybrid learning experienceengaging participants both locally and globally via virtual platformsand includes access to in-house clinical services for those in need of mental health counseling. Gems participants have led international workshops and hosted leadership events, including engagements at major institutions such as the federal reserve bank of san francisco. Since its inception, gems has maintained a 100% high school graduation rate, with the majority of graduates enrolling in college or university programs."
The everyday counts attendance challenge (edcac) celebrates and rewards students who achieve consistent attendance throughout the school year. Through monthly incentives and recognition, the program reinforces the importance of showing up every day and builds a positive, motivating culture around attendance. Edcac has been instrumental in strengthening student engagement and fostering collaboration among schools, families, and communities to improve attendance outcomes."
