Permanent residency is the next important step toward citizenship for those who win asylum. In 2024, Oasis assisted 48 new LGBTQ+ immigrants seeking lawful permanent residency. A total of 70 clients were granted residency in 2024. Our case approval rate is 99%.
Our naturalization program focuses on helping lawful permanent residents become citizens so that they can become full participants in our communities. In 2024, Oasis represented 66 new clients in their citizenship applications. A total of 62 clients became naturalized citizens in 2024. Our case approval rate is 99%.
