Agriculture leadership activities the obion county farm bureau structure of organizational leadership provides many opportunities for member leaders to keep abreast of issues that affect agriculture. Local board members attend organizational & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local agricultural & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local acricultural civic & community organizations. Leaders attend district state & national conferences to network with farmers & other agriculturalists to learn about current issues facing agriculture. A highly developed committee structure provides leadership opportunities for members through meetings, regular communications and agriculture activities.

Youth agricultural initiative the obion county farm bureau provides a scholarship to a high school student enrolling in college who is planning on majoring in agriculture yearly. Obion county farm bureau also sponsors 4-h activities thru extension services in the county that reach out to youth.
