Assist individuals with disabilities in reaching their maximum potential.
Programs
3 programs
Resource recovery - this program employs individuals with disabilities who assist in the collection and processing of recyclable materials. Disabled individuals also work at the recycling facility sorting and baling recycled materials. The recycling facility is leased to burlington county under a 20-year agreement; while the operations, processing and marketing services are funded through an annual agreement with burlington county. Recycling services are also provided under contracts with the federal government and the state of new jersey.
Community access centers - provided through four community access centers that help integrate individuals with disabilities into the community through recreational and paid or volunteer activities. This program focuses on developing personal skills, practicing good health and hygiene, and building work habits of the individuals served. A special needs program also provides nursing and occupational therapy services to individuals with severe disabilities. A fifth center was purchased in august 2025 and is expected to open in 2026.
Group homes - there are seven group homes operated under this program. The patricia w. Leuliette facility, located in springfield township, is a 2,500 sq. Foot home for five adults with developmental disabilities. The kathleen wright facility, located in marlton, is a 2,024 sq. Foot home for four adults with developmental disabilities. The florence gilbert facility, located in willingboro, is a 2,516 sq. Foot home for four adults with developmental disabilities. The robert scheyhing facility, located in marlton, is a 2,136 sq. Foot home for four adults with developmental disabilities. The john wegener facility, located in willingboro, is a 2,200 sq. Foot home for four adults with developmental disabilities. The robert bankard group home located in willingboro, is a 2,195 sq. Foot home for four adults with developmental disabilities. Around the clock staffing helps to provide a real home environment while encouraging personal growth to the individuals served.
