Mission

Ocean aid 360 organizes events with volunteers from the local community to find, retrieve, and recycle marine debris and derelict fishing gear from the local watershed in order to restore essential fish habitat. Ocean aid 360 supplies lunch and fishing prizes to incentivize volunteer participation and perfomance in the coastal cleanup experience.

Programs

1 program

During the calendar year 2024, ocean aid 360 (oa360)led ten (10) community level marine debris cleanups to imporve marine haitat and reinforce coastal economies for long-term resource sustainability. Ocean aid 360 collected more that five tons of waste during 2024 with the help of over one thousand volunteers, and utilized a portion of the collected materials to create new living shorelines to prevent coastal erosion in florica and south carolina. Where substantial debris was located, oa360 engaged successfully with local commercial fishing fleets to expand the reach and impact of on-the-water cleanup efforts. All ocean aid 360 events are open to the public with results widely reported via our website, local news and social media public posts. Please check our website for upcoming activities.
