Guahan Sustainable Culture cultivates ideas and strategies of environmental sustainability within our local community through practical education, social engagement, and collaborative partnerships. GSC believes that environmental sustainability translates into the well-being of our island community.
Programs

Americorps Guahan Sustainable Culture. The organization received a grant to recruit 48 members to promote healthy living, environmental stewardship, disaster services, and capacity building within the island community.
Solid Waste Infrastructure for Recycling Grant Program. The organization hosts free workshops on composting, which teach residents how to reduce waste by creating nutrient-rich soil. Participants receive a composting system and a monthly produce bag for committing to share food waste data.
[ALL OTHER PROGRAMS - DRAFT] GSC Educational Programs. The organization conducted after-school programs and summer programs at our community gardens to teach students how to grow their own food and learn about the nutritional values of local fruits and vegetables
