Homeless Veterans Reintegration program HVRP provides employment, training, and housing linkage services for homeless veteran populations identified as young adults, women with children, chronic homeless and recently incarcerated. HVRP serves urban communities on the south and west side of Chicago whose communities range from 20 - 50 below poverty levels and experience 30 - 52 unemployment rates.
The Rapid Re-Housing RRH program is a short-term maximum 12 months, with the possibility of extending for an additional 12 months rental subsidy program. It was designed by the federal department of housing and urban development HUD to serve homeless families throughout the city of Chicago. Of Color Inc serves sixty families in helping them to secure stable housing to avoid homelessness in the future.
