Mission
The olympia school district education foundation provides programs and services to students and partners with teachers to enhance educational success and promote learning for all students of the olympia school district.
Programs

Grants for: reading programs, school supplies, curriculum development, technical equipment, before and after school programs, homeless and low income student programs, stem and robotics, and scholarships. The grants benefited students in multiple grade levels at all the schools within the district.
Mental health initiative program was established to provide support in the following areas: 1) training materials to osd teachers and staff in the areas like suicide prevention, 2) online mental health training open to all osd students, families and staff, and the greater thurston county community, 3) providing funds to support projects addressing social and emotional learning and the mental and physical health of osd students and 4) a mental health resource library for osd staff, with grade-level resources for students as well as materials for staff.
Provided funding for environmental education for all 5th graders within district to attend outdoor education program.
