From July 2023 to June 2024 Olympia Symphony premiered a "Link Up" education concert allowing 824 fourth grade students to prepare music on recorder and perform an interactive concert with the orchestra. The organization presented the second year of a young artists competition welcoming young musicians to prepare a solo work and receive feedback from professionals including Music Director Alexandra Arrieche. Winning performers were eligible to perform as a soloist on an Olympia Symphony season concert. Area students also received masterclasses from visiting artists Ricardo Morales clarinet and Kristin Lee violin. The Symphony collaborated with local students for a "conduct us" booth at a community festival in Olympia.
