Mission
Established in 2014, oncology supportive services is committed to providing support services to cancer patients in northwest arkansas. This will help ease the burden for patients who could not otherwise afford such services. We are here to provide care, compassion, and consistency with a holistic approach for cancer patients in northwest arkansas community.our goal is to provide programs that will offer support and hope to cancer patients and their families through:centering care around patients and their families, improving cancer patients quality of life, advocating for a healthier community, and encouraging a holistic approach to cancer care.
Programs

Oncology genetic counseling - patients can receive assistance for hereditary cancer consulting done by a licensed certified genetic counselor. We do not want the cost of oncology genetic counseling to prevent anyone from getting this valuable service. In 2023, 30 patients who otherwise could not have afforded a consultation with a genetics counselor, were provided counseling through our genetic counselor grant.
Nutritional services - we funded a full-time registered dietitian to support the head & neck cancer patients who struggle with the ability to eat while undergoing treatment.
To provide funding for free prevention services, medical assistance, and outreach services to people who might otherwise not receive care.
