Programs
2 programs
Sharing network: the issue of social isolation in homebound seniors, particularily older people of color in public housing, is addressed by establishing social groups averaging less then ten members, using telephone conferencing to connect and communicate. The emphasis for these groups is to facilitate connection for those lacking social interaction, to enjoy intelligent and friendly exchanges and to improve their sense of wellbeing and community.
Lift-offs: an array of activities and opportunities for ages 14 to 24, offering alternatives to mindsets and behavior patterns which often lead to violence and other counter-productive outcomes.
