On-Demand Training: In July 2024, One World began offering certificates for participants who completed trainings on transition planning and building strong nonprofit boards. Between July and December of 2024, we awarded 108 certificates. 55 people from 27 organizations learned how to position their nonprofits for stability through all types of transitions and earned a Nonprofit Transition Readiness certificate. We also released new content on building strong boards of directors in FYE 2024. Our board strengthening trainings helped organizations feel more empowered, increase board effectiveness and engagement, improve interactions between the board and team, and devise new board fundraising strategies. Our members contributed their extensive knowledge to peer-led videos, providing practical insights into topics covered in our board strengthening training series.

Individualized Coaching: We matched one organization with an expert consultant for individualized coaching to help them define board goals, establish a supportive and productive board culture, and implement systems for assessing board performance.Group Coaching: We delivered coaching to a group of 6 member organizations led by a One World facilitator and an expert consultant. The coaching helped the member organizations maximize synergy between their organizations and their boards of directors. The combination of peer learning and coaching allowed participants to benefit from each others lived experiences and engage with crucial topics, such as board engagement and board fundraising.
