The peter sheehan diabetes care foundation has been created with the goal of reducing the incidence of type 2 diabetes, while improving the lives of those already affected with this devastating chronic disease. The foundation will support programs to diagnose patients, promote data analytics, and initiate genetic research of type 2 diabetes complications, thus enhancing the role of preemptive medicine in stemming the tide of a complex and deadly disease that has become epidemic.
