The opal project incorporated is a non-profit corporation and shall operate exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. The purpose of the opal project incorporated is to provide support to individuals with disabilities and their families through education, community engagement, and respite. The opal project incorporated will provide education by advocating for individuals with disabilities and their families by utilizing social media channels and the corporation's website to provide facts, statistics and other related data on causes, current efforts and solutions to the transitional gap from school life to adult life for individuals with disabilities.
