Employment and Career Development: Open Arms was able to assist 196 individuals seeking a career path to secure a better employment, by the contributions from individuals and companies and Vendor contract with the Florida Department of Education Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, helping with vocational school enrollment, resume preparation, EFM enrollment, on-the-job training, and employment services.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance: Trained volunteers to become advanced tax preparers through the IRS. Assisted the community wit tax preparation, tax amendments, prior years taxes and IPIN request. Over 1,180 individuals served with tax matters.
