At Operation Code, we are honored to be a candidate in this year's Umpqua DE&I grant. Our community of over 12,000 members is made up of transitioning military service members, Veterans and military family members. We have specific support groups that address the experiences and unique needs of additional underserved groups under the military umbrella: LGBTQIA+, women, BIPOC, Veterans and disabilities and military spouses. Through our HIPAA compliant and confidential case management program, we are able to provide wraparound services to mitigate blockers that surround our hardest to hire demographics. We don't just provide professional development and workforce training; we stand in the gap for suicide prevention, focusing on long-term mental and physical health through meaningful and lasting employment in our members' tech careers while providing advocacy at the policy level, and training for tech and corporate enterprises for military cultural competency.
