Mission

The mission of operation progress op is to empower youths from watts, south los angeles, and the housing developments to become educated, ethical, and productive adults who reach their full potential and positively contribute to society. To do this, op is committed to supporting scholars beginning in 3rd grade through college graduation with our comprehensive program called the 5 pillars of success academics, life skills, health & wellness, service, and safety & support. We offer individual academic case management, lapd mentorship, after school expanded learning programs, executive function skill development, socioemotional support, summer programs, and scholarships to participating scholars.
