Operation Up-Lift Inc

Operation Uplift Inc. is a grassroots not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing social services to unemployed and underemployed residents in the West Suburban Cook County communities. Since its inception in 1968 it has supported over 37,500 clients. The organization operates key programs such as the Operation Uplift Training and Resource Center which offers computer training job readiness skills employment referral assistance life management counseling GED studies nutritional counseling and small business seminars. Additionally the West Town Museum of Cultural History is part of its offerings. Operation Uplift is actively involved in community collaborations as a member of the Maywood Chamber of Commerce the Triton College Advisory Council on Adult Education and the Mayors Summit on Crime & Violence.
