Programs
2 programs
Dialogue and publications: to extend both the exhibition content and the reach of wide audiences. Each exhibiting artist is offered the opportunity to give a presentation about their work during their exhibition. These talks are free and are attended in-person and on zoom live, and 200 talks are also archived and available on our youtube channel. Our goals is to support a hybrid approach to our programs where possible. Other in-gallery programs include: portfolio walks, artist book presentations, short artist presentations, and panel discussion. Other types of virtual or digital programs include: gallery tours, panel discussions, interviews, zoom workshops. This period allowed us to focus on programs that we didn't otherwise have time to offer. We hosted 10 engaging artist talks or panel discussions in the gallery and another 8 lively artist talks on zoom. For combined in-gallery and virtual (live) programs, we had 1800 attendees.
In addition to the 60 artists presented in pacific northwest drawers, there were 19 no strings exhibitions, 2 sitka center artists in residence on community walls in the gallery and 5 regional artists in our main exhibition spaces for a total of 86 artists local to the pacific northwest on the walls and in the drawers.
