Oen builds and strengthens oregon and southwest washington's early-stage entrepreneurs through the provision of education, guidance, connections, and financial opportunities, to impel increasing economic impact throughout the region.

Oen executed angel oregon bio in partnership with ohsu, obi/otradi, onami and the oregon bioscience association to support oregon and sww-based life and bioscience startups. The proram offered capital literacy and investment readiness education to 23 local life and bioscience founders, angel investing education to approximately 15 angel investors, and helped raise an equity investment of $185,000 awarded to one startup, axia orthopedics. One finalist has since received an investment from a local seed fund and two finalists are in discussions with local funds for equity investments.

Oen again executed angel oregon tech in 2024. Over 40 companies attended one of two 4-week capital literacy and investment readiness education series, 15 startups pitched to a live audience and 5 were ultimately finalists for the aotech investment fund. A $110,000 angel investment was made in dayo who went on to win additional investment at another local pitch competition for investors.

Oen again executed oregon angel food, providing capital literacy and investment readiness education and introductions to investors. 35 entrepreneurs attended one of two 4-week capital literacy and investment readiness classes and 5 were ultimately finalists for the oregon angel foodinvestment fund. A $185,000 angel investment was made in mickelberry gardens who also received investment from a local fund as well as local angel investors.oen hosted 11 pubtalks in person during 2024. Over 1,000 attendees received an opportunity to network and five of these events took place outside of the portland metro region. Additionally, oen hosted 4 entrepreneur mixers for startup founders only to network and connect. Over 200 entrepreneurs connected through that program and oen took place outside the portland metro.
