Mission
The past, present and future activities of the oregon fallen badge foundation will include the following: the foundation will provide support for the planning and execution of law enforcement memorial services throughout the state of oregon to ensure that fallen officers are given the full honors to which they are entitled, responding to any oregon law enforcement agency's request for assistance in planning and coordinating law enforcement memorial services, maintaining the highest order of honor, tradition and ceremony within the greater law enforcement community, providing the highest level of tribute and honor to fallen officers, establishing protocol that fits within established military and law enforcement ceremonial standards for memorial services, answering questions about the history of honor guard units and their roles in policing, educating the public about traditions and decorum of law enforcement professionals, and providing assistance to the survivors and families of law e

Support of fallen officer's families for burial services. Accounts were setup at local banks for community to contribute directly for the benefit of a fallen officer family. The foundation was the clearing charity for these donations and the amounts are tracked in a separate escrow account. The amounts are shown as a liability and not income/expense of the foundation as it is a pass through.
