Mission
Primary Exempt Purpose-Oregon for Climate Action (OCA) was established to provide needed thought leadership, outreach and education around climate risks, as well as impacts and opportunities for Oregon's economy. The organization continued a "state-to-federal climate initiative" to educate Oregon businesses on federal policy directions at the state level, and the benefits in Oregon of climate-related investments already decided upon at the federal level. OCA, in partnership with other NW non-profit organizations, continued the Breaking Barriers Collaborative and delivered Accelerator programs to help NW businesses address their own climate emissions-including outreach and education, tools, 1-on-1 consulting and other resources. The Accelerator Program covers fleet decarbonization, including how to access federal, state, and utility resources. The organization supported Oregon's Climate Protection Plan in various non-legislative forums including Department of Environmental Quality session
