Oregon Wheat Foundation Inc

Grant awarded to Oregon Agriculture in the Classroom to assist in providing curriculum and reference materials to teachers in grades K-12 in Oregon. Program also includes allocation of resources to the Oregon Ag Education Foundation for the Century Farms/Ranches program.

Future Leaders of Agriculture Program (FLAG)- The Foundation sponsors one wheat producer to attend the annual winter U.S. Wheat Associates/National Association of Wheat Growers meeting and Hill day visits with the Oregon Wheat Growers League. This sponsorship allows the next generation of wheat producer leadership to become acquainted with the policy and legislative process in the nations capital and visit with Oregon legislators and federal agency representatives firsthand.
