Unites diverse communities and builds collective power to eliminate injustice through bold and innovative community organizing. We accomplish this through developing grassroots leaders and acting together to effect change.

Education - ONE Northside coordinated the Parent Mentor Program in 5 local schools and engaged local parents and students in training on community organizing and local social justice issues.
Housing - ONE Northside worked to organize people in the community in need of affordable housing to preserve and create new affordable housing in the community and throughout Chicago and to improve transparency in the waitlist system in Chicago.
Economic Justice - ONE Northside organized community members to support progressive revenue sources for affordable housing in Chicago.
Police Accountability - ONE Northside organized the community to implement the new infrastructure for civilian oversight of the Chicago Police that was won through the Empowering Communities for Public Safety ordinance.
Mental Health - ONE Northside organized people living with mental illness to fight for expanded public mental health services and to stop private insurance companies from denying access to health care through claims denials.
