Oslc developments, inc. (odi) is inspired to improve the healthy development of children and families through effective programs conducted in collaboration with public service systems, schools, communities and agencies. We specialize in implementing programs that translate findings from rigorous controlled clinical trials to real world settings including child welfare, school, juvenile justice and mental health systems.
Programs
3 programs
Kits (kids in transition to school) projects designed to bring the kits program, a school readiness program to improve the early literacy, social, and self-regulation skills of children entering kindergarten and the involvement of their parent, to some of the most disadvantaged neighborhoods. The kits program has been implemented in multiple school districts and communities in oregon.
Odi clinic programs deliver mental health and substance use treatment services for youth and families. Services are funded through the oregon health plan (medicaid). Programs include: adolescent and family services (afs) and students with involved families and teachers (swift).
15th night a community effort employing the collective impact model developed at stanford university to prevent teenage homelessness through comprehensive case management of teens at risk and identify additional evidence-based specific prevention strategies that align with a students risk profile. Odi also operates smaller programs which broadly focus on mental health support, substance abuse education and treatment, and parenting.
