Mission

The Navillus Foundation aims to provide a beacon of hope and support for the most vulnerable populations in the United States, with special emphasis on individuals located in New York City. We are dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the homeless, empowering victims of natural disasters to rebuild their lives, nurturing disadvantaged children to achieve their full potential, and extending a helping hand to the less fortunate in our community. We launch several annual campaigns with the general goal of creating a more just and compassionate society where every individual has the opportunity to thrive. Our foundation is committed making a lasting impact and creating a better world around us.

Operation Santa: The Novellus Foundation wanted to make the Holiday season extra special in 2024 by partnering with The New York Care's campaign of Winter Wishes. This campaign sought to ensure that children from less fortunate backgrounds were able to get a gift from Santa even if their families could not afford it! We were able to answer over 70 letters and provided well over 100 gifts to these children. All participating children were elementary or middle school students across five different public schools in Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.

Halloween Costume Drive: This was our first year doing such a campaign and due to its great success, it is something we will continue doing in the year's to come. Through monetary and physical donations, we were able to donate over 70 costumes to The Floating Hospital's Health Education Center in NYC! In NYC, roughly one out of every nine children are experiencing homelessness, that is a whopping 119,000 children everyday who do not know where they will sleep that night. For children living in poverty, this time of year can be just another reminder that they are going without. By providing something as simple as a Halloween costume, we were able to give these children an opportunity to forget their circumstances and enjoy the holiday like any other child.
