Mission

A california non-profit public benefit corporation serving our community as a volunteer based retirement, rehabilitative, equine renewal program that provides a quality environmental and maintains superior care for horses that are in need of a secure place in life. Otra mas also trains many of these wonderful animals for service in the field of equine assisted psychotherapy, which is beneficial to those that are suffering from an array of conditions such as ptsd, mood and anxiety disorders and substance abuse. We work with groups, families, couples, and individuals in need of help developing leadership, social skills, and dealing with life-adjustment issues. Our horses are well cared for and are given homes for life.
