Mission

The mission of OurSpace World is to cooperatively educate, organize, and support groups of earth healers and land stewards. We help systematically disadvantaged farmers, builders, healers, and educators attain sovereignty and sustainability through partnerships and wise resource acquisition and management.

Programs

2 programs

TUI: Community cooperative support. OSW supports the cooperative efforts of land and food centric enterprises and the workers involved. The organization supports the synergistic goals of different stakeholder groups by helping to coordinate shared labor, shared markets, and other resources that can be leveraged for broad community impact.

Expenses: $613KGrants: $463K

Teach 22: Education, skills building, and training for job and economic development. OSW's historical mission has been to build leadership within the community by teaching and training valuable skills to individuals in the community to support growth of whole-person health, sustainable housing, and education. OSW has added farming, natural building, and land management skills to this. The organization trains people in basic farming and construction of basic farm infrastructure every year. OSW's Teach 22: Journeys programming is designed to give students a break from technology and virtual learning by giving them hands-on learning enrichment in natural settings such as farms and parks. Camp EarthPact during the summer, and Earth School during the school year, are the branches of Teach 22 youth programming OSW is currently refining.
