Resident development and support: otrch offers supportive housing to families and individuals who have experienced homelessness. This is done in partnership with other organizations. We operate the following properties in this program: recovery hotel (20 units), buddy's place (20 units),carrie's place (43 units), nannie hinkston house (12 units), jimmy heath house (25 units), spring street (6 units), and an additional 85 scattered site units. Resident support includes activities like block parties, children's summer camps, weekly art programming, and special events.
Housing development and support: consistent with the mission statement, otrch's housing development and support program works to ensure that existing, lowwealth residents benefit from our neighborhood revitalization initiatives. Developer fees received from this program are putback into the community, funding new projects in order to preserve affordability in and around over-the-rhine and the city. The development team is currently working to develop 210 units of affordable housing.
