Water Equity In 2024, we examined opportunities to improve water customer assistance programs for low-income customers. We collaborated with NGOs and community partners to assess climate vulnerability to water access, sanitation, and hygiene and to rural communities in the United States. We developed a evaluative framework and identified actionable strategies for frontline communities to address systemic inequities and enhance the resilience of their water and sanitation systems in the face of intensifying climate impacts.

Nature-Based Solutions In 2024, we updated a tool to help businesses and governments identify and value the multiple benefits of nature-based projects. We developed a new methodology for corporations to quantify the biodiversity benefits of their water stewardship investments. We evaluated air quality in and around the Salton Sea and advanced efforts to continue its restoration.
