We do not turn away pugs needing to be rescued. Sometimes when we medically evaluate a pug, we realize they will not be able to move to a forever home. In these situations, we commit to placing the pug with a volunteer who is skilled in providing the care needed to ensure the end of their lives is comfortable and occurs in a loving environment.
Our organization is comprised 100% of volunteers who donate time and often resources to help pugs in need. When we need to transport a pug, a volunteer will drive to wherever it is needed and bring the pug to our rescue. While we do not pay for time, we will reimburse for the cost of gasoline. We also microchip all the pugs which enter our rescue. When needed, we will cover the cost of specialty supplies required by our fosters. In 2023, we transported dogs at risk from Missouri and Mexico.
