Ukraine public health systems recovery & resiliencethe public health system resilience and recovery activity assisted the government of ukraine (gou) to improve core national and regional public health capacities to address health challenges during wartime and in the post-war future. The project strengthened the gou's capacity to prevent, detect, and respond to public health threats; sustain critical public health services during crisis; protect the health of all ukrainians including vulnerable and marginalized populations; and expand mental health support to veterans and war affected populations.

Engage ukraine projectthe engage activity supported civil society in ukraine with the goal of increasing citizen awareness of, and engagement in, civic activities at the national, regional and local levels. Through partnerships with community service organizations, engage helped respond to wartime needs. Partners provided essential aid, and offered evacuations, medical assistance, and other necessities. Partners also championed policy changes in areas such as anticorruption, transparency, social cohesion, and civic education, among others.
