Mission
To promote aina-based education and environmental stewardship that protects and restores natural, cultural, and community resources in the southern Waianae mountains and throughout Hawaii. The Organization has a license to operate in Palehua, lands in the Waianae mountains. The organization runs education, cultural, and conservation volunteership programming, as well as solicits resources to support conservation efforts.

Culture & Aina-based Education Programming: The organization hosts educational services programming at three cabins, with a focus on cultural workshops and strategic planning retreats for social service professionals. Those include culture-based workshops such as lei making, and small educational gatherings for social service and nonprofit professionals. PCI hosted 29 events for 797 attendees in 2024. Expenses include maintenance of cabins used to host education programming.
