Project Title: "Palmer Fire & Rescue Overdose Response and CPR Training Initiative"Description: The project seeks to (1) purchase advanced CPR mannequins that permit practice in Narcan administration and airway management, and (2) use a portion of the requested funds to certify department members as CPR instructors. By combining the right equipment with staff who hold recognized CPR instructor credentials, the Department can sustain a long-term training program that will improve skill proficiency among both first responders and community members.
