The pan american league of rheumatology associations (panlar), is a non-for-profit international organization. Panlar integrates rheumatology scientific societies, health professionals related to rheumatic conditions and rheumatic patient groups from all countries of the americas. With the mission to stimulate, promote and support research, prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of rheumatic conditions, panlar supports: (a) 19 study groups specialized on different areas of rheumatology, (b) annual pan american congress of rheumatology, (c) annual scholarships and awards for research, (d) scholarships for international congresses, (e) education committee and research unit. Based on learning principles, with the fundamental interest of responding to the real needs of our latin american societies.

The panlar accreditation program leads the certification system for centers of excellence in rheumatology in latin america. This program ensures high standards of quality in medical care, continuous education, research, and clinical management.d clinical management.accomplishments: this initiative has certified healthcare centers specializing in rheumatoid arthritis, promoting the standardization of rheumatology practices across the continent. It has evolved into a pathology-based accreditation model, expanding opportunities for specialized centers in rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis, and psoriatic arthritis.costs associated with these programs include the agency responsible for implementing the certification methodology, supporting the institutions, and evaluating the centers.
The global conversations videocast is part of global rheumatology, the official journal of the pan-american league of associations for rheumatology (panlar). This live program aims to promote discussion and knowledge exchange on important topics in rheumatology worldwide. The inaugural segment focused on juvenile idiopathic arthritis.accomplishments: the main achievement is the ability to energize scientific communication in rheumatology, making valuable information accessible and interactive for the professional community. We have shared relevant content with a global audience, disseminating the work of panlar to up to 2,000 individuals.expenses: the costs primarily relate to the production and promotion of the videocast.
