Mission
Panah is a CHARITABLE non-profit foundation helping very poor and needy families in Afghanistan. Unfortunately majority of population in Afghanistan are living below the poverty level. There is no job and no income. Panah Charity is working hard to provide food to starving families & children, shelters for homeless widows/children, self-sufficiency programs, and working non-stop toward reducing the child-labor by sponsoring poor children. Throughout the year Panah Charity delivers humanitarian aid in Kabul, provinces, and villages. This foundation also creates water wells in very dry and poor villages in Afghanistan to provide clean drinking water to needy families. Panah Charity Foundation promotes education by sponsoring poor children and helping them to attend schools. Panah Charity also provide medical support to very poor children and adults. The non-profit has an office and two employees in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Panah Charity provided monthly sponsorship to about 100 poor widows with young children and disabled individuals who can not work. With a minimal monthly support, the families had food for their children throughout the month. Total cost of monthly sponsorship program to widows was was $67,706 US dollars in 2024.
Panah Charity provided warm clothing such as jackets and boots to homeless children living in camps in winter of 2024 for $8,563. Panah also supported homeless children when they needed medicine for a total cost of $1,841 Us Dollars. Also Panah provided fans in 15 classrooms in JowzJan Province for a total of $1786 US dollars to control the heat in very hot summer days. Under this program in total over 1500 homeless & poor kids received support from Panah charity foundation.
Panah Charity provided meat & bread throughout the year and in Eid Qurban to hundreds of poor & homeless families throughout the country in 2024. Total expense of these type of humanitarian aid to families was $34,945 US Dollars.
Panah Charity Foundation provided emergency relief programs in 2024 for the victims of flood in Baghlan & Ghurat Provinces. Total cost of emergency relief programs was $19,276 US dollars in 2024.
Panah Charity Foundation in 2024 built 9 water wells in villages to create clean source of drinking water to poor families and children in those locations. Drought has caused lots of damages in villages and families are struggling finding clean source for drinking water. Total cost of this program was $10,203 US dollars.
Panah Charity Foundation built homes for three widows with young children for total cost of $11,294 in Herat Province in 2024. These widows had lost their homes during the earthquake in 2023 and had become homeless. Also Panah Charity Foundation provided solar to an orphanage in Herat Province to provide electricity for orphans classrooms and bedrooms. The cost of this project was $3,734 US dollars.
