The Parent Power Lab exists to amplify the collective agency of Parents to impact public education in transformative ways.

Parent Teams. Parent Power Circles (school site teams) will continue to form where the Parent Power Lab does not have a Parent Advantage partnership with a school. The focus for team formation continues to be at the primary school level.

Parent Issues Assembly. The Parent Power Lab successfully executed another Parent Issues Assembly focused on School Transportation. Over 80 parent volunteers participated in house meetings and research sessions leading up to the Issues Assembly. This years Parent Issues assembly focused on a particular topic that emerged from overwhelming parental complaints regarding transportation. A working group has been formed to pursue continuing research and action on school transportation.
