Boards, committees and conferences assist the ct pta in achieving its mission and objectives. These members are dedicated to providing the best services to the children in the local schools and communities through the utilization of the local ptas units.

Ct pta participates in the national pta convention. The individuals who attend the national pta convention gain knowledge about school decisions and legislation affecting the well-being of chilren in addition to actively seeking out development programs, fundraising ideas, tools and equipment to help their ptas and school communities. They also have the opportunity to buy educational materials and publications for both children and adults, and share any ideas obtained from the convention with their schools, communities and their ptas.

All other activities including legislative activities that include the use of a paid lobbyist to advocate for the parent-teacher association of connecticut, inc. At the state government level.
