Parents Educating Parents & Professionals Inc

We coordinate and plan 18 workshops for vocational rehabilitation (vr)staff on individuals with disabilities education, legislation,transition, individual education programs (iep), intervention strategies and other related topics to increase the community's and professional's knowledge about these topics in the state of georgia. We serve as a consultant for iep transition meetings and advocate for vr clients. We provide orientation for youth transitioning from high school to roosevelt warm springs institute for rehabilitation (rswir) and cave springs rehabilitation center (csrc). We establish support groups for the youth exiting rswir and csrc.

We work with various communities and schools to offer assistance with ieps, ssts, 504s and educational advocacy. We offer wilson reading and other tutorial services as needed.
