In loving obedience to james 1:27, mission 1:27 serves in under resourced communities by helping kids grow, teens lead, and neighbors thrive together.
Programs

"free indeed" exists to help set people free from circumstances. This help takes many forms, such as help finding a job, assistance with a bill, or help moving furniture, etc.
Food-co-op program - nutritious food is provided by the atlanta community food bank to moderate income families who qualify under certain income limits. This program provides approximately $100 worth of food per family every two weeks for a nominal $3 fee. The food security for america program, who manages this food distribution, is a section 501(c) non-profit, faith-based organization.
All other programs including:mission 1:27 christmas market provides quality toys and gifts for families in need at significantly reduced prices, thus allowing families in challenging times to afford christmas gifts for their children.senior lifestyle program(slp) - slp coordinators plan social, educational and cultural activities, as well as off-site outings for senior adults 55 and over. Life groups program - life group leaders plan small group meetings, twice a month, with social, networking, educational, cultural, and encouragement activities for adults of all ages.
