Parkman House and Farm Ministries hosted multiple visits by a local church youth pastor and his family for berry picking opportunities, pecan gathering, peanut harvest, along with walks, mentoring, evangelism discussions, and encouragement to continue to minister to the local church and rural community during the difficult pandemic conditions of 2020.
0Despite the pandemic restrictions during 2020, Parkman House and Farm Ministries continued to make progress with the material rehabilitation and revitalization of the 39 acres of real estate and farm property in Russell County, Alabama. Eradication of invasive plant species, insect pests, and vermin was continued although there were significant challenges and restrictions put in place by both federal and state authorities that adversely impacted Parkman House and Farm Ministries support for visiting missionaries, pastors, as well as for the hosting of Christian and community fellowship activities.
