To support the parris island museum by providing for the preservation, perpetuation and appropriate publication and display of manuscripts, books, relics, pictures, and other objects of historical significance, and to conduct community outreach and educational programs for the museum by soliciting donations in support of these purposes and through the operation of the gift shop.
