To provide resources to help enhance the quality of education in the el dorado public schools

Support is provided to usd 490 and its students through higher educational scholarships and local needs awards; 29 scholarships were paid during the fiscal year.
Grants are awarded to usd 490 to purchase supplies, equipment, and facility improvements, including the k9 program, musical instruments, cte equipment and supplies, athletic equipment, and electronics. These programs benefit users of the field track, applied mathematics, cte program, and elementary e-book availability.
Support is given to usd 490 to fund the 'i can read program and various other programs to benefit students throughout the district.
