Mission

The Partnership for Gender Equity PGE seeks to remove barriers to women's equitable participation in agricultural supply chains in Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia. PGE does this by providing tools and advisory support for agricultural businesses that provide services to farmers and farmer organizations.

Virtual and on-site workshops leverage PGE's diagnostic tool and action-planning process to support progress along a gender inclusive development path. The Better Together Workshop series is a virtual orientation to the GEI approach which supports agricultural businesses including producer organizations POs to design credible Gender Equity Development Plans GEDPs. Targeted support to POs includes design and improvement gender policies, women's leadership programs and transformative Household Methodologies. Market access through Equal Origins' Buyer-Supplier Alliance web portal that promotes end-market investments in inclusive producer organizations on a credible path towards gender equity.
