EMPOWERMENT: Our Empowerment Program focuses on strengthening the socioeconomic well-being of individuals, families, and communities. At PIPES, we are deeply committed to serving vulnerable populations-especially those experiencing poverty, limited opportunities, and financial hardship. We support community-driven initiatives that reduce suffering and promote sustainable development among indigenous and low-income communities. By equipping local leaders with practical skills, resources, and ongoing training, we help them take ownership of long-lasting transformation within their own communities. Our empowerment initiatives include farming and food security programs, small business development, savings groups, vocational and sewing skills, jigger treatment, health awareness, and insurance premium support for vulnerable households.. In 2024, we trained and equipped more than 300 farmers with seeds, tools, and agricultural practices to improve household food production and income generation. Additionally, we provided water to 500 people among the Maasai in Kenay, we supported 50 women with sewing and vocational skills in Rwanda, Burundi and Pakistan-empowering them to provide for their families, start small businesses, and live with dignity. These combined efforts continue to uplift communities, restore hope, and build pathways out of poverty for generations to come.

EDUCATION: PIPES is committed to empowering youth and students by increasing access to quality formal education-one of the most effective pathways out of poverty. In 2024, we completed the construction of an elementary school on Idjwi Island in the Democratic Republic of Congo, serving grades one through six. By December 2024, more than 300 children had already enrolled. This new school provides a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where students can learn, grow, and dream of a brighter future. The students receive a hot meal three times a week. We partner with schools across Africa and Asia to strengthen education, improve learning outcomes, and support vulnerable students. Through our child scholarship program, we help children who would otherwise have no opportunity to attend school, ensuring they receive the education they deserve. Across our various programs, PIPES currently supports more than 1,300 students in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia, enabling them to access classrooms, learning materials, meals, and mentorship. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, we partially support the salaries of 30 teachers who play a critical role in educating the 1,300 children under our care. By investing in teachers and school infrastructure, we create sustainable systems that benefit entire communities. Through these efforts, we have demonstrated God's love and extended hope to thousands of children and their families. Quality education remains one of our highest priorities-and we are committed to making it accessible to every child we serve.
