The mission of the corporation is to promote health, educate the public, provide relief to the poor and distressed, lessen the burdens of government, and combat community deterioration by serving as a statewide resource that (1) offers financial support for charitable and educational initiatives across the state, (2) engages in research and education that is made publicly available, and (3) develops and encourages collaborations that accomplish charitable and educational objectives through resource-sharing, learning, and networking.
