Our mission is to eliminate health disparities by increasing diversity in medicine through three areas of focus: increasing the pipeline of minority clinicians making the pipeline less leaky and supporting minority clinicians in practice.

Diversifying doulas initiative: a program to address health disparities in childbirth outcomes. Black womens risk of death during childbirth is 3-5 times that of white women. Doulas support during pregnancy is associated with improved birth outcomes including decreased cesarean section rate increased breastfeeding and decreased postpartum depression.

Vaccine equity and access program veap is a grant program that was prw was awarded through community catalysts for our covid vaccine work in lancaster pennsylvania. The veap program is a national network of community based organizations working to increase covid vaccine access and decrease covid vaccine hesitancy in target communities.
