Mission

Paw fund provides veterinary and pet wellness services to low income communities and served over 3,500 pets during the current year. We have a small re-homing program for those cases where our clients must, for whatever reason, surrender their pet.

Programs

4 programs

Vaccine clinics: vaccines, de-wormers, flea control, and microchips are provided at all events, and animals are signed up for free or pay-what-you-can spay or neuter surgeries through our partner vets across the region.

Expenses: $73K

Spay & neuter services: our spay and neuter program provides funding and logistical support for over 500 surgeries in each year, and our whole program provided wellness services to over 3500 pets.

Expenses: $86K

Foster & adoption services, owner surrender and rehoming, client outreach & transportation: many of our clients struggle economically and many lose their housing. Having to give up the family pet is a heartbreaking consequence. Our program provides a safe place for their pets to go, instead of an animal shelter, and new longterm homes are found. Through careful screening of adopters we fostered then adopted over 100 animals during the year.

Expenses: $84K

Client outreach & education: we arrange weekly outreach events to high risk neighborhoods, homeless encampments and assisted living residences. These outreach events reach hundreds of pets whose owners are unable to travel.
