Paws' mission is to serve as a community resource to prevent pet homelessness, to protect pets from harm and suffering, and to promote responsible owernship.

Open admission animal shelter: in 2022, paws took over management of an open-admission animal shelter in driggs, idaho. It provided care for 818 lost, found, stray and owner-relinquished pets in teton county, idaho through december 31st, 2023.
Spay/neuter program: in 2022 paws provided more than 650 free and low cost spay and neuter vouchers to residents of teton county, wy, star valley, wy, and teton county, id, and helped 125 pet owners pay for critical veterinary care for their animals.
Medfund: the paws medfund provided financial assistance to more than 150 families whose pets needed critical veterinary care. The lifesaving program prevents unnecessary suffering of pets due to financial constraints.
